Pretzels- I decided to make these today when I was bored out of my mind. They came out nice and doughy. They were even better fresh out of the oven. Follow this recipe to try them!
Christmas Morning Breakfast! Last night my mom and I prepared the dough for our homemade cinnamon buns (yum!) we then added the filling this morning and they came out great. We also enjoyed a frittata that had asparagus and red bell peppers.
Christmas Gift Cake! Just use your favorite vanilla cake recipe and divide the batter amongst three square pans and ice with your favorite vanilla butter-cream! Use fruit by the foot and little chocolate sixlets to decorate. Merry Christmas!

baked pepper with quinoa, tuna and cheese
just made this for lunch with some leftover tuna. all i did was combine 1/4 cup quinoa (cooked for 15 minutes with 1/2 cup of water), a little bit of parsley and oregano with the leftover tuna, and then placed it in a green bell pepper. i then baked it in the oven for 15 minutes at 350 degrees (adding some cheese on top during the last 5 minutes). enjoy!
chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting!
i used the barefoot contessa recipe to make these delicious cupcakes. using the sour cream in the batter really creates an amazing texture, and of course the peanut butter frosting is just perfect (who doesn’t love pb & chocolate!? i also made egg-less chocolate chip cookie dough and placed it on top of the cupcakes before putting them in the oven (make sure to push them down a bit, too). i hope yours turn out just as delicious as mine! enjoy (:
i made this baked peanut butter banana oatmeal recipe and it turned out pretty good. make sure that you don’t use quick oats! i also found that i added a bit more of milk to the oatmeal once i scooped out a portion into a bowl, heated it up in the microwave and it was perfect!
my roommates and i made homemade jalapeno and cheddar burgers topped with pineapple salsa and avocado for lunch <3
triple chunk chocolate ice cream: this was a great recipe and my first time making homemade ice cream. my only recommendation would be to make the chocolate chunks super small or excluding them because it was quite difficult to get a good scoop with the large chunks! besides the annoying chunks, the flavor of this ice cream was very rich and delicious. i would definitely make it again :)
